Inorganic Waveplate

Inorganic Waveplate

True Zero-Order Wave Plates with Customizable Thickness and Integration into Micro-Areas

n the process of fabrication of inorganic waveplate, we're using autocloning photonic crystallization in order to integrate the function of polarizer into substrates.

In regard to the glass materials, we're offering various choices of optical glasses such as quartz.

Features

  • Forms a wave plate on the substrate surface. Can be set to any substrate thickness (from tens of microns to millimeters). Can be adjusted according to handling and space requirements.
  • Capable of composite arrangement of optical axes in multiple directions.
  • Can be integrated into very small areas (from sizes in the range of microns).

Examples of Use

  • Optical pickup units
  • Optical communication devices (transceivers, optical switches)
